Issue:
After redirecting default Package Installation Root from %PROGRAMDATA%\App-V to another location i.e D:\App-V
The following error appears in Appv Client Event Logs:
App-V – Package {x} version {x} failed configuration in folder ‘D:\App-V’ with error 0x4C40320C-0x12
Solution:
Ensure that the folder permission, in this case ‘D:\App-V’ also has the below permissions
- Authenticated Users | Read & Execute permissions.
- Set the folder Owner to SYSTEM.
