Citrix Receiver 4.8 Auto Update GPO Settings

Location of ADM(x) templates:-

Location of ADM templates are as follows: – C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\ICA Client\Configuration

• receiver.admx
• CitrixBase.admx

This should be copied to

C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions – Local PC

Location of ADM templates are as follows: – C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\ICA Client\Configuration\en-US

• receiver.adml
• CitrixBase.adml

This should be copied to

C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions – Local PC

Auto-Update GPO Setting available:-

Set the delay in checking for Update

(fast)– Available updates are rolled-out to the users at the beginning of delivery period.
(Medium)– Available updates are rolled-out to the users at mid-delivery period
(Slow)– Available updates are rolled-out to the users at the end of delivery period.

Enable or Disable AutoUpdate Policy

Enable AutoUpdate Policy:

• Auto = Receiver checks for updates automatically.
• Manual = User checks for updates manually.
• Disabled = No updates.

LTSR ONLY:

True = Only LTSR updates will be available.

Auto-Update-DeferUpdate-Count:

• -1: User can defer any number of times.
• 0: User would not see remind later option. number: User would see remind later options with the given count.

Citrix Reciever System Tray Icon Options will appear as per below:
