Issue:
Upon boot of PVS Image you get NETWORK_BOOT_DUPLICATE_ADDRESS.
Resolution:
Start the vDisk in Private Mode on the master server, Open Network Connection and set the IP Address to be DHCP rather than Manual.

Thank you for creating this article. It was helpful in tracking part of the issues I was encountering.
After changing to DHCP you might find that you get multiple IP addresses. Some systems will start up while others will keep coming up with this error.
The issue was caused by hidden network adapters within the VM OS. This issue is specific to VMware.

Thanks for your comment and agree the ghost network cards can also cause the issue as well.
Why does this happen in the first place? As, I have the same. I was going to update my image, and I booted the vm to start updating and it came up with this error. I was shocked what happened and I was going to reinstall the VDA and recreate the vdisk.
When you say Master server are you saying the server that you plan to start and launch the vdisk in maintenance mode which does not have the system drive? or which one is the Master server?
Hi, yes put Vdisk image in maintenance mode. Start VM so it’s writeable and ensure network details are dhcp
I tried the above step but it went to this screen and then went into Recover Mode blue screen.
